Natural 101
The FDA unfortunately does not have guidelines for using the term natural on products. This leaves a lot of room for companies, to slap the word natural on their products and try to cash in.
What’s bark + bath’s definition of natural?
Its very simple, no artificial colors, no artificial fragrances and no artificial preservatives. It’s designing products chemical & synthetic free. It means using ingredients that may cost more-but are ultimately better.
The only real way for you to know if a product is natural- is if a company has full disclosure on all ingredients, and then you read those ingredients. We of course have full disclosure of all ingredients.
And we realize that our ingredients can cost more, which leaves our product at a slightly higher cost. But we know the consumer in the end, will pay a little more for quality natural products that wont harm their pet.
